HOW TO NEVER LET FEAR HOLD YOU BACK AGAIN

Image
HOW TO NEVER LET FEAR HOLD YOU BACK AGAIN One thing that holds people back from tapping into their full potentials and becoming the best version of themselves is fear. Fear shatters dreams, prevents organizations from achieving major breakthroughs and is the root cause as to why so many end up going to their grave with all of their talents, hopes and wishes still unexpressed. Whether it is the fear of public speaking, fear of pursuing an enormous dream, or of what others may think of you, it's not actual fear that is holding you back. It's the made-up story that you continually tell yourself about the fear that is stealing your happiness, your peace of mind and your ability to unleash an unlimited amount of potential into the world. Fear itself, of course, is normal. When you set out to pursue your deepest desires and live a bold life, it's completely natural for fear to creep in and scare you from time to time. What makes all the difference as to whether your fea...

Tips for CV Success in 2017

Image
1. Be creative Experiment with the format of your CV and try to add your personal flair to the layout. In recent years, candidates have even gone digital in the form of video CVs and games, but this is usually only worth it if you’re in a creative industry. 2. Be careful If you choose a more creative format for your CV, don’t let it be detrimental — don’t choose anything too distracting or difficult to read from. 3. Proofread Ensure you triple check your Resume/CV; you do not want avoidable errors to hinder your chances before you’re even through the door. Please have a professional check it for you too. 4. Don’t make it too long Your CV should be around two or four A4 pages long. Recruiters now a days hardly have the time to read five pages CV, no matter how talented you are. This is because of the large number of applications they recieve. So keep it simple and avoid too much of unnecessary explainations 5. Tailor each CV Every CV you send out should be tailo...

Ozubulu Massacre: 35 killed, scores injured

Image
My heart bleeds so much in respect of the massacre of joyful worshippers who were attending 6am mass in St. Philips catholic church Amaka Ozubulu in Ekwusigo LGA of Anambra State, killing no fewer than Thirty-five (35) worshippers and injuring scores of others now recieving treatment in various health facilities in the state. I must say it is so sad that we have lost respect and sanctity for human life and the the worst of this all, this incident happened in the church (God's Sanctuary) which is the most respected, reverenced institution in the Christian faith. This act is barbaric, preposterous and highly condemnable. Nigeria was not known for things like this in the global world but today it is so sad we are been tagged with terrorism, kidnapping, assassination etc. I hope the federal government of Nigeria takes this case with serious alacrity and ensure the perpetrators of this wicked act are brought to justice and also put in place security infrastructures that will avert s...
