Ozubulu Massacre: 35 killed, scores injured

My heart bleeds so much in respect of the massacre of joyful worshippers who were attending 6am mass in St. Philips catholic church Amaka Ozubulu in Ekwusigo LGA of Anambra State, killing no fewer than Thirty-five (35) worshippers and injuring scores of others now recieving treatment in various health facilities in the state.

I must say it is so sad that we have lost respect and sanctity for human life and the the worst of this all, this incident happened in the church (God's Sanctuary) which is the most respected, reverenced institution in the Christian faith. This act is barbaric, preposterous and highly condemnable. Nigeria was not known for things like this in the global world but today it is so sad we are been tagged with terrorism, kidnapping, assassination etc.

I hope the federal government of Nigeria takes this case with serious alacrity and ensure the perpetrators of this wicked act are brought to justice and also put in place security infrastructures that will avert situations like this from reoccurring in the future because i believe that it is what every well meaning Nigerians wants.
May the soul of the faithful departed rest in peace and i pray Almighty God gives the family, the church and Nigerians the fortitude to bear this great and irreplaceable lost
